Math Problem Statement
Jane is employed with a gross salary of £26,500, and with an annual leave allowance of 25 days per year. The leave year runs from 1st April to 31st March of each year. Jane joins the organisation on 17th July.
Pro rata leave allowance is always rounded up to the nearest half day, to make sure that no staff member loses any leave entitlement. Annual salary is divided into 12 equal monthly payments (calculated pro rata for any part months worked).
What gross salary would Jane receive for the month of July?
